Great question! Content marketing is the creation and distribution of information assets, either for the purpose of education or entertainment. The goal is to generate brand awareness, grow consumer traffic, develop leads, and eventually close more sales. Marketing content is generally at no cost to the reader and does not explicitly promote your brand as an ad-promotion would.
